Frequently Asked Questions

What category should I choose for my submission?

You can choose any category you like. Feel free to look at other submissions to see what category your submission might do best in. You will also have the best chances in a category with the least submissions, providing your video fits the category. Once the judges have given their votes, you will not be able to switch categories anymore.

I have submitted via FilmFreeway/the old platform. Do I need to register here?

All FilmFreeway submissions and submissions from our old platform are in our system and are part of the London Music Video Festival. If you want, you can login/register here to have the fullest festival experience.

How can I login/register if I submitted via FilmFreeway/the old platform?

If this is the case, your submission and email is already in our system, but without a password. To complete your registration please request a password reset link here: Forgot your password? Entering the email your used previously to submit you music video(s).

I have entered in my submission. Will this be reflected in the competition progress?

We are checking all updated submissions regularly. Your submission will be in the stream within a week. If not, please contact us.

Can I also add a Vimeo link?

Unfortunately, the live stream currently only works with YouTube links. YouTube links can also be unlisted or a premiere in time for the live stream on the 1st of July. If you do not enter a YouTube link, your video will be rated by the judges like any other video, but not be part of the live stream.

Can I submit more than one music video?

Every submitted music video is part of the competition and has the same chances. You can submit as many music videos as you like.

What time will my video be shown in the stream?

You can find the time of your video if you hover over it (or if you are on mobile, next to your video) on the start page. The timezone of the stream is British Summer Time.
